Who I work with

What age range do you tend to work with?2023-04-20T16:50:13+00:00

I work with folks who are just starting out, to those who have been in the workforce for many years.  I do tend to gravitate towards folks who are mid-career and consider this to be my sweet spot.

Do you work with only Austin based clients?2022-09-16T16:46:59+00:00

My clients are all over the US, and I’ve even had international clients. Given that the sessions are conducted on zoom, you can dial-in from anywhere!

What makes a person “coachable?”2022-09-16T16:46:59+00:00

Over time I’ve landed on 3 key things:

  1. awareness that you might not have all the answers,
  2. openness to different perspectives,
  3. and a willingness to do the work.
I’m looking for coaching for someone else, should I talk to you or have them talk to you?2022-09-16T16:46:59+00:00

Please pass along my details and have them reach out. Ultimately coaching only works when a person is motivated to do the work. Engagement up front from the party who will be on the receiving end of the service is key.

The Coaching Process

How does your process work?2024-02-29T20:21:49+00:00

It’s a little different for each person, because people are different, but there is a general flow. For career coaching clients, we start off sessions debriefing the Ennegram Assessment and look at things like coping strategies, how you’re currently derailing yourself and what are the recurring problems that have been chasing you throughout your career.  Then we will tap into the insight from the Highlands Ability Battery, and then look at your interests, your abilities, your skills – we look to develop a clear direction for your focus and your career.

For leadership and executive coaching, we first debrief the results of your 360 leadership assessment or self-assessment, and from there we develop a plan of what leadership competencies you want to work on, and what may be holding you back. As we meet for coaching sessions we periodically check in to ensure we are making progress on your leadership coaching goals. I have a lot of expertise teaching leadership for companies, I’ll often share models/concepts during our sessions that have been helpful for past students and clients and challenge you to put them to practice.

How long does each coaching session last?2022-09-16T16:47:57+00:00

Each session is 50 minutes, standard in coaching and therapy.

How long does the coaching relationship last?2023-08-10T15:18:00+00:00

I work with career coaching and leadership coaching clients over a 9 month period. During that period you can utilize your sessions however you like.

Can you guarantee results?2023-06-22T17:41:40+00:00

No.  I’m very clear that a person gets out of this process what they put into it, and therefore results greatly depend on your level of focus and determination.  That being said, you can check out the testimonials section of my website to see what my clients say about working with me.

Payments

How much do you charge?2024-02-29T20:19:27+00:00

I’m very transparent about my pricing, and you can view all my coaching packages here.  I work on a package model.  You pay once, and everything is included.  The career coaching package is currently $3,995 and the leadership coaching package is currently $4,995.

How do you take payment?2023-06-22T17:39:15+00:00

Via my business venmo account. Full payment is required upfront. I find this greatly benefits the client as folks are much more invested in the process and committed to it when they make the financial investment upfront.

Do you have a sliding scale?2022-09-16T17:18:38+00:00

No, I do not offer a sliding scale for coaching services.

Logistics

What hours of the day are you available?2023-06-22T17:40:20+00:00

I typically see clients virtually on zoom Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Do you meet in person or virtually?2022-09-16T16:47:33+00:00

All sessions are conducted via zoom. I made this switch during the pandemic, and having done sessions exclusively virtually for 2 years now, can confidently say that the virtual environment does not affect the quality of the sessions. Plus you don’t have to fight Austin traffic if you’re based here!
